About

Flatrock Solar was started in Durango, Colorado in 2010 by Matt Helms, who has a degree in Environmental Studies from the University of California at Santa Barbara and an MBA from the University of Arizona.  He has also received his NABCEP PV Installation Professional certification; the most widely accepted solar design and installation certification available.  With his background in finance and a passion for the environment, founding Flatrock Solar in Durango seemed like a good way to put the two together.
